Year 10 Art students visit the Arcelor Mittal Orbit

This year the Year 10 GCSE Art students went on a trip to the highly emblematic Orbit sculpture situated in the Olympic Park, Stratford, designed by Anish Kapoor. It was fantastic weather which contributed to the photography opportunities on the day. We always go up in autumn which lends to the stunning colours captured by our talented students. The experience of visiting such an iconic structure, the context, both current and historical along with the connections linking engineering and the creative arts make for a truly inspirational experience. The photographs featured were taken by our current Yr10 GCSE Art students.
