Chis and Sid are very fortunate to be part of the Jack Petchey Award scheme and we would like to congratulate our winners so far this term:

October: Ruby, year 9 (pictured with her award)

Awarded for being an incredibly hard working student who always performs to the best of her ability.  She is a great role model to her peers. Her award money is going towards the purchase of hockey shirts for the after school hockey club.

November: Lawrence, year 9

Awarded for being such a fantastic sailor that he has been picked for the International Topper Class Association Great Britain National Squad.  All his hard work and dedication has really paid off! His award money is going towards a 4 hour workshop for drama students with the world renowned theatre company Frantic Assemble one evening after school.  This experience would strengthen the students’ knowledge of leading practitioners and helping them create innovative and ground breaking work.
