Purple Book Competition

The Purple Book 101 Things To Do competition has been running successfully now for a number of years. It is an independent learning competition that spans years 8 & 9, with students beginning their journey in the competition in the summer term of year 8 with a deadline of Easter the following year. With such a long time span one of the keys to success is carefully planning and time management.

The most recent winners can be seen in the photo, and they were:

1st: Lois Warden

2nd: Christopher Lewis-Roberts

3rd: Osaruese Egharevba

Headteacher’s Awards for excellent progress were also awarded to Sophie Fryer and Maha Abumahlula.

The form that completed the most merits was 9E, thus earning 100 points for their house.

The current year 8 have already made an excellent start to the competition, completing over 400 tasks in the first few weeks of the competition, and they have an excellent opportunity over the summer holidays to complete many more.
