After last year’s triumphant success, the Christmas market again proved really popular with all. The school hall was full with local stalls selling all sorts of items ranging from handmade cupcakes, jewellery, clothing, shabby chic and vintage craft. Our Christmas Café was supported by parents serving delicious fare. Our Dining hall was packed to the rafters with the class stalls of years 7, 8 and 9 plus our very own PTA stalls. The newly formed Parents Netball Supporters Association joined in for their very first Christmas fayre experience. We were astounded at the constant flow of visitors. It was lovely to see the children having such fun with their friends, whilst the parents enjoyed the wonderful array of gifts to be had. We welcomed singers from St Olaves Prep School and Centre Stage performing arts who entertained us with singing and dancing on our main stage. The school was full of children and parents playing games, eating candy floss and enjoying the magical atmosphere of the day.
We would like to extend our thanks to all that made this day come together! We raised a staggering £4,351.99, this is a Christmas Fayre record!
Lastly, a great deal of time, effort and planning goes into all our events to make them successful and fun. We would like to especially thank all the parents at the school whose continued support throughout the year is unwavering.
